Two More Chains Lock in Plaza Store Slots

The Widewaters Group's shopping complex at the north end of Fairview Avenue/Route 9 will add two new stores, Planning Board Chairman Don Alger told the Town Board at its meeting Wednesday, March 2. A PetSmart retail store will go up next to the TJ Maxx store. PetSmart sells food, toys and accessories for pets of all kinds. The firm also sells birds, fish, reptiles and small pets like gerbils and hamsters – but not dogs or cats. Services offered include adoptions, grooming, training by certified instructors, "Doggie Day Camp," PetsHotel overnight boarding, and veterinary services.

Also coming, to the existing building just behind the Applebee's restaurant, is Five Below, a youth-targeted retailer selling sporting goods, media, clothing, room decor and such, all for five dollars or less... read the full story »
